Second chances

Hi! For those of you who don’t know me my name is Kimberly. There really is know way to explain for help without straight asking for it. So thats just what I’m going to do.  No mother should have to suffer the  consequences of her past for the rest of her life.  However, I am one of those moms. I have been sober for what will be 4 years on Nov. 21st. I am currently fighting against my abusive ex and his family for custody of my children. In 2015 I got pregnant and I had my daughter in 2016 and I was able to have custody of her. Then when my daughter was three months old my ex had broken my ribs(who went to prison) and I was on prescription medication. For the first few months I was taking it as prescribed but I had felt maybe I could be starting to go down the wrong road.  So I reached out to my ex’s family for help.  Well I didn’t know they had resentment towards me for their son going to jail so they took me to court for custody of my daughter. Mind you who they have only seen twice. At the time they had the other 2 children. Well the court system felt because i only have months sober and they had the other 2 it was fit for them to take her. My daughter is now traumatized and has night terrors of her leaving me.  For the past 4 years I have been stable and sober.  I have done therapy and classes because I want my kids that bad. I have tried doing this one my own but the costs of my bills plus court is becoming  very overwhelming. I do receive unemployment but because I pay child support I only receive $85 a week. I don’t have family to ask for help either.  So please if you can do anything even a $1 I greatly appreciate. I just want my babies home and I need to keep my home for them. Thank you again. Xoxo
