Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Humane Society for Boone County, and any donation will help make an impact.

The Humane Society for Boone County is a private not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization almost entirely volunteer operated and dedicated to the task of animal welfare, rescue and education in Boone County, Indiana. The shelter operates through a network of generous donors, volunteers and foster families.

Some dogs, cats, kittens and puppies come to Humane Society for Boone County with severe injuries or illnesses that need care beyond what the normal adoption fee will cover.  They treat heartworm positive dogs, take care of Parvo puppies, abandoned motherless kittens needing bottle fed, and everything in between. There are expenses to housing the animals and keeping them safe with a roof over their heads, food in their tummies and fleas off their backs. When the shelter is full, donations go to purchase the supplies our foster families need so that they may continue to care for the pets in their personal homes.  Donations are also used to fund our TNR efforts, pet pantry supplies, veterinary visits, etc.

·       One Microchip

·       One FELV/FIV Test
·       One Rabies Vaccination
·       One Bag of Puppy Chow
·       One 40 pound Box of Kitty Litter
·       Kitten Milk Replacement Powder and New Bottles for Feeding Kittens

Here is how a $30 donation can help:
·       One Bag of Puppy Chow
·       One Bag of Cat Food for the Community Cats
·       Fill One-Quarter of the Diesel Tank in the Bus
·       One Case of Specialty Recovery Food for Cats and Dogs in Distress
·       A Box of Puppy Piddle Pads
·       A Small Pet Taxi/Carrier
