Liver Transplant Operation

My mom, Mary Rintoul, was diagnosed with a liver disease 6 years ago and has been on a liver transplant list since. She received a call  Friday evening while home in Kansas that there was a liver available and she would need to be on the road within the hour to Nebraska for the operation. Her liver disease forced her to retire from work at age 59 and the call came as a shock to us all. She will now have to cover her own hotel stay in Nebraska for 8 weeks, in addition to transportation to appointments, medical bills and prescription costs not covered by insurance . If you are able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me to be able to help lower my mom’s financial burden so she can focus all of her energy into recovering from an organ transplant during a pandemic.
