Mickey's Medical Expenses

Mickey was involved in a hit and run accident around 8:30pm on April 14, 2021. The accident occurred on 8th Street and 7th Avenue. Mickey was crossing the street on the crosswalk when a white Maserati SUV took the red light, struck Mickey, and kept driving. The impact was so severe that Mickey lost his leg on impact.
Mickey was rushed to Jackson's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition and spent about 10 hours in surgery. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to reattach the leg. The road to recovery is going to be a long one. He will require ongoing medical care, prosthesis, therapy, and more. Due to the coronavirus, Mickey has been unemployed for about a year. Nonetheless, he has always been a hard worker! He was due to graduate from a security certification course on April 15, 2021, just one day after he was hit. We are raising money to help cover the medical expenses that Mickey has and will continue to endure.
