Help this Struggling Family

Anybody who knows Melanie and Fred knows this family has been through a lot, with breast cancer and chemotherapy, then surprise twins. Now this family of seven is on the verge of becoming homeless, within days.
Due to unfortunate life circumstances, Melanie and Fred have been evicted from their apartment because they have been unable to come up with the $2,700 rent for the month of June. They have always paid their rent on time. This is the first time they have ever been late and yet the owner of the apartment complex, which is owned by a huge corporation, gave them a three-day notice after they were only one day late. The owner has refused to work with Melanie and Fred, and is now pursuing legal action to kick this family out of their apartment. They now need to  find another place to live by July 1. Fred works 50 hours a week to support the family, and Melanie is pursuing a home day care permit to get a  day care business started.  Right now, Melanie and Fred are selling everything they can think of to come up with the money to pay off the rent that they owe, and put a deposit down and first rent for a more affordable place to live.
Anyone who knows Melanie, can attest that she has always been the first to help a friend in need. Please consider helping her family out in their time of need. We all are struggling in this economy to make ends meet, but  anything you can give to help off-set the moving costs and other expenses would be greatly appreciated.  In addition to financial support, they could use any leads on affordable housing in Santa Rosa.
