DJs Double Lung Transplant Surgery

DJ Timmons son of Harriet and Ronald Timmons is 44 years old from Margaree Centre. He has two children Keshia (22) and Terry (20) as well as two grand children. He was diagnosed a few years back with Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. This is a genetic disorder that has resulted in having a severe lung disease. Most recently it has affected his lungs greatly to the point that he only has a small percentage of his lungs left working thus needing a double lung transplant to survive. Lately he has been in and out of the hospital several times and is now on home oxygen. He has been unable to work since his diagnoses. 

As as many of you may know or can imagine, there are a lot of costs associated with having a double lung transplant eg. travelling to Toronto for the surgery. We have decided to have this gofundme in hopes to alleviate some of the financial burden that DJ and his family will endure over the coming months and into the future. Any donation will help.
