Aaliyah Goes To Italy!

Aaliyah Grafton, Age 11 has a magnificient opportunity to travel to the American Celebration of Music in Italy with the La Villa School of the Arts Bel Canto Choir in March 2015. Aaliyah's heart beats for music and one of her dreams is to become a singer. It is not unusual for Aaliyah to ask her parents for sound equipment and microphones because she loves to spend her time singing and recording songs! She even puts on "concerts" under the moniker "KymPossible" (complete with costume changes, extensive set lists and production) for friends and family as an expression of her lofty goals as a performer.
Aaliyah Kymora Grafton affectionately called "Li-Li" has had the opportunity to sing at the Allstate Music Conference in Tampa FL (Jan 2012), The Jacksonville Jazz Festival Youth Jazz Showcase (as one of the youngest ever in the competition) in Jax, FL (May 2014) and was a featured artist at the Simply Natural Hair Beauty and Wellness Expo in Orlando FL (June 2014).
Now, as a student at La Villa School of the Arts, Aaliyah and her choir classmates will travel to Rome, Florence, Montecatini, Pisa and Venice, Italy and sing in various concert appearances as apart of the American Celebration of Music in Italy. Some of the anticipated stops will be Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, Mass at St. Mark's Basilica, Concert Santa Maria de Ricci and Concert at Sant'Eustachio. This will be an experience she will never ever forget!!!
The sole purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money to cover the entire cost of the trip for Aaliyah and her mom as a chaperone for the 8 days and 6 nights in Italy next spring. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by December 2014. With your help, we believe we can do it!
