Household Bills

My name is Michelle. I am 33 years old and I was just recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer (I am still in shock). I am a single parent to my daughter Ayisha. As some of you may know, she has Cystic Fibrosis (CF). That in itself, is tough and now we are forced to deal with having breast cancer. I work at CMMC as a Medical Assistant Float, so I travel to different doctor's offices and help out where I am needed. I love my job!! Unfortunatly, next week is my last week of work since I am having surgery. I am having a bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery on September 10th, 2014 (2 days after my 34th birthday) Following with chemo and possibly radiation. I am going to be out of work for at least 9 months to a year for recovery. Because my daughter has CF, I work perdiem so I can work around her illness and doctor's appointments.This means I do not get benefits from the hospital. I am not eligible for FMLA. I have applied for assistance through a couple of different agencies, but I have not heard anything yet. Any money donated to my cause will be used to help pay household expenses while I am recovering and going through treatment. I have a great support system with family and friends and people that keep asking me what they can do to help. This would be greatly appreciated. I am planning to go back to work as soon as I am better and cancer free! Please consider helping me out. Every little bit counts. Thank you so much in advance.
