DJay’s Emergency Fund!

Covid-19 has affected the entire world and there are so many people in need of help and I unfortunately am one of them. This has taken me over a week to muster up the courage to ask for help. As you all know I am someone who is able to figure my way through tough situations such as driving across the country by myself and creating a life for myself out here in Los Angeles, but it has come to a time where I can’t do anything but ask for help. I have been out of work for 3 weeks and counting, a little before we entered into lockdown and the stay at home order. I was able to get food stamps (thank god) but I am not able to get unemployment due to an on going case that happened 5 months ago which I have no control over and it has put me in a very difficult place. All I am asking is for my rent to be covered until I figure out what my next step is with work because it could be months until i am able to work in a restaurant again. Our amazing mayor was to have Eviction Moratorium but no rent freeze and that also doesn’t include fees. It’s only getting worse out here and I just want to be protected. 

I know we are all going through this trying time together but if you are able to help me in any way it would honestly mean the world to me!
