Caleb's Heart

This is my son Caleb. He has a rare congenital heart defect. He has been in and out of hospitals most of his life. Recently he has developed cirrhosis of the liver due to the fact that his pace maker battery needs replaced. He has been trying for 9 mos. to self pay for this proceedure with no luck. He falls in the cracks of programs out there. He will have insurance in a few months but his health is failing and needs a simple proceedure in order to prevent more damage. PLEASE. the hospital wants $ up front to do it. He cannot wait. THE RISK IS TOO GREAT. He is a worship pastor at a church and has been in church ministry since a teenager. He would never ask on his own. This is a mom trying to aleviate his stress and be proactive in making sure he gets the health care he needs. There will be more issues down the road but for now this is a prioity. We are working with several Drs that are ready and willing and concure that it should be done immediately.
