THE PITBULLZ JOURNEY AHEAD!!!
It was with great sadness and broken hearts that we formally announce the passing of Akeem Oliver-Ray Thompson, Sr also known as Dj Terrah, a devoted single father, loving son, and big brother. DJ Terrah gained a real love for Dj’ing and radio at the tender age of 13 where he was led to the first step in making his dream come true. His passion for the turn tables gained him prominence in the radio and music industry. Dj Terrah went from Dj’ing in nightclubs to being a staple on air personality for Magic 101.3 FM and 98.9 JAMZ, as everyone knew there was never a dull moment with him. His talent is known not only in North Central Florida but abroad. His love for his community enabled him to leave an invaluable footprint in the hearts and ears of the audience in which he loved to entertain.
On August 19, 2021, Akeem unexpectedly lost his battle with Covid-19 and left behind three wonderful children in which he named affectionately called them "The Pitbullz", because of the mess they left behind when they played at home. As a devoted single father Akeem would stop at nothing to make sure his children were well taken care of while gaining full custody of them. If it was not football practice with his son or playing dress up with his daughters, he was dedicated to making them happy. Akeem would do kidney dialysis three times a week and DJ'ing on the radio and various events, while raising his children on his own—what a Superman! So suddenly and too soon Akeem was taken away from his children. As we can see there have been so many that have expressed valuable memories that we will cherish forever, for he was loved by many. This GoFundMe will help his "Pitbullz" as they travel this difficult journey ahead.
