DJ's challenge with Osteonecrosis of the Hips

My brother DJ suffers from Osteonecrosis of the hips. Men are more likely to have this diagnosis than women.  Typically men can get this from the ages of 40-70. My lucky brother started having these issues in his early 40s. In prior years, he would have been told he was too young to have surgery. Luckily technology is constantly improving and he was approved to have surgery to get new hips! He works as a contractor and thus does not have any sick or vacation time. He had to suffer in pain for years to build up money in order to have his first surgery. Then he had to wait almost 2 years before having his 2nd surgery because he couldn't afford to take time off. His wife, Colleen, took out a loan using her retirement funds in order for DJ to have surgery. His 2nd surgery was a success however he hasn't been able to return to work as quickly as he had hoped. They are struggling to pay the rent this month. Any assistance you can give to helping them would be greatly appreciated!
