DIY Breathing device, Ventilator from common parts

We are raising money to develop a DIY respiratory device to take the pressure off of the icu beds and ventilators. Hospitals and ICUs will soon be overwhelmed. Many unlucky souls soon to suffer bouts of COVID-19 respiratory distress will not need full ICU ventilation, just some help getting enough air. With your help, we’ll develop a DIY respiratory device good enough to assist those folks, taking some pressure off of ICU beds and ventilators and overworked staff.

Our prototype (see the video!) can already do this with a  hundred dollars worth of parts you'd buy at Lowes or Home Depot! But we can do better. We are a team of engineers who develop systems for major ventilator manufacturers, now hoping to hit a DIY sweet spot within the next ten days, before the wave of victims hits overload. The money raised will go to pay engineer's salaries, overhead and for parts.
