<div>Dixon VFD/EMS is a 100% volunteer community service organization that responds to 200 emergency fire and medical 911 calls every year, all hours of every night and day. We care about the people who live and work in the lower Embudo Valley. We train and work hard to be there for you - to respond promptly, competently, and compassionately.

<div>Although we receive financial state support for purchasing firefighting and EMS apparatuses, much of our training expenses and community events expenses are not supported by government funding. Each year at this time, we appeal to the people of our region to help keep us strong and growing by donating to the Dixon Community Fire Department fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable service organization that directly supports the hard-working volunteers of Dixon VFD/EMS. <strong>Your contribution will also support our annual Dixon VFD Aaron Griego Summer Youth Cadet Program that has meant a lot to many young people in this community.</strong> Please consider a donation to our work. <strong>We pledge to be there for you (and your friends and your family) when you need us.</strong>
