Dixie's hope for a prosthetic limb

Dixie is a bright young lady who was born with an absent femur (thigh bone).  She has dealt with this disability all her life, using crutches and wheelchairs.  She and her mother do not have the resources to obtain a proper prosthetic limb.  The volunteer doctors of Bayside Medical Missions performed a surgery to prepare her leg to receive a prosthesis.  Dixie is so excited to know that she will be able to get around in a more normal fashion once she has her new limb.  Although we can obtain deep discounts, there is still a cost.  As an all-volunteer organization, we depend on donations to cover the direct costs of helping these very wonderful people.  Please make a donation to cover the cost of the prosthesis for Dixie!
