DIxie Payne lost her Beloved husband Kenny suddenly to COVID-19. She is also suffering from the same illness that took her husband. It is very unusual to see a love like Kenny and Dixie had.
They were inspirational in their love and devotion to each other. People wish for this kind of love story. She was his queen and he spoiled her by cooking her favorite meals and being her handyman for any project her heart desired. She appreciated his hard work and partnership.
To lose him two days before Christmas is heartbreaking. She is alone and scared for the future. I hope we can come together to lift her up and carry her like she has for so many others.
Dixie exuded love like this to every person she met. She will make you instantly feel like her friend and loved. This is her gift from God. God, family, and her church family from Rock Of Salvation Pentecostal Church are her world.
She is retired from a long Career at Mercy Fairfield Hospital where she had an impact on each patient and employee she came into contact with her kindness. There was not a day that went by she did not greet you with a smile and end each conversation with “have a blessed day”.
She made everyone at
every walk of life feel important. I wish there were more people in this world with the
heart of Dixie.
