Divorce Atty For Child Custody

Hello everyone my name is Mike and I have just been recently blindsided by my wife asking for a divorce after almost 6 yrs. We have a almost 5 yr old son together and he is truly my best friend in this world and I am his. My ex and I are not in a position to afford a divorce but it's what she asked for and from talking to some friends they told me to try and get an atty and file first so it will better my chance of getting temp custody of my son. Since she asked for a divorce and has apparently already found a new guy she is with she also decided she wasn't going to let me see or speak to him until we file which at the cost of a divorce that could he 6 months before I can do that. So now I'm asking anyone out there that can sympathize with my situation to please help so this daddy can get his son back with him on a regular basis. We have spent his first 5 yrs on this planet together everyday and night and now we can't even speak or do a video call. I need to at least get the retainer paid as soon possible so I can file and potentially get temp custody until the divorce is final. My son's name is Shepherd and he truly is the most awesome little boy you could ever meet. Thank you for any help including prayers.
