My name is Myles Glover and I'm a student at Central Washington University. Right now I'm in a financial crisis; I'm trying to go back to school but delinquent fees that I owe the school are hindering me from doing that!
I originally owed 6,000 dollars and with that occupying my mind, I was determined to do whatever it took to reconcile with the school. As I pondered over different opportunities in the upcoming summer, a seasonal job in Alaska seemed to hold the most promise mainly because the job was predicated on capitalizing on the harvest season for Salmon. The expectation was set for roughly 9 weeks consisting of 16 hours of work per day, 7 days a week. Albeit the base pay low, the opportunity seemed very lucrative based on the availability to rack up a lot of overtime in a short period of time. Once I actually got there, things worked out much differently than expected, the biggest takeaway being that the peak Salmon season not only ended in about half the time expected, but working hours decreased drastically before most of us had a chance to begin creating sufficient traction financially. All said and done, I made out with $2900 and I immediately sent $2400 of that to my school, leaving a balance of $3500.
My involvement with programs within my school, during my first year of enrollment speaks even further to this enthusiasm I have listed those accomplishments below. You are also free to call up the School and speak to anyone in the Student Alumni office for a reference check. Returning to school and getting a chance not to default on my 4 year plan is what would make me happiest. With this request, I would appreaciate any contribution of any amount to help me with this fee. Thank you so much in advance!!
