Along with colleagues from Forrester, we are participating in a Move-A-Thon and raising money to benefit The Trevor Project. We are doing this to draw attention and provide monetary support to diversity and inclusion (D&I) at work -- LGBTQ+ specifically. Other groups of colleagues are doing a similar effort around our other D&I pillars -- Ability, Gender, Race/Ethnicity and Age. The Trevor Project was founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR. It is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25. You can learn more about this organization at www.thetrevorproject.org. In addition to myself, the LGBTQ+ fund-raising team at Forrester includes: Annabeth Kelly Bradley Belanger Bridget Walsh Cinny Little Fatemeh Khatibloo Jay McBain Kayti Corfield Kellie Reardon Lauren Rodan Lindsay Rapoza Maggie Lautenslager Mary Shea Pippa Jollie Robert Shadduck Shannon Guiney We are all setting activity goals for the virtual Move-A-Thon event on the weekend of November 20th -- walking, biking, running, and doing other activities (BMX, Peloton, and more) in honor of our cause. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
