WHAT IF you were unable to provide a safe home
for your children?
WHAT IF you had no choice but to live in a dangerous neighborhood in a small space with a dirt floor, exposed not just to sickness and disease, but also to violence?
WHAT IF you had to sell your body night after night in order to feed your children?
WHAT IF you felt powerless to change your situation, but understood that if you don’t, your children and your children’s children would likely be trapped in the same situation for generations to come.

WHAT IF someone came and disrupted the hopelessness of your life?
WHAT IF you were given the opportunity to move to a safe place, where you and your children could breathe free and be well?
WHAT IF you were given the chance to learn a new vocation and provide for your family without abusing your own body?
WHAT IF you finally were able to see a new legacy being born into your family line, one of hope and peace and space to dream??
WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to change this exact “what if” scenario together this Christmas through a connection with a wonderful organization in Quito, Ecuador called Fundación Casa Mis Sueños. They have been serving on the ground level for over a decade, and I had the privilege of being with them for a week a couple of years ago. Rarely have I felt so connected with what an organization does and stands for. They serve the poor, prostitutes, prison inmates, and overlooked indigenous tribes. And it is BEAUTIFUL.
RIGHT NOW Casa Mis Sueños has an immediate need to sponsor a family of 6 (a mother, her children, and her two teens’ children) to be able to move OUT of a dangerous, impoverished neighborhood, AWAY from a life of prostitution, and into an opportunity to learn a new trade.
$1000 is needed to move them into the new neighborhood, and $2000 to furnish the new apartment.
Just $3000 to DISRUPT the hopelessness and to BRING HOPE and OPPORTUNITY to a beautiful family for generations to come.
This could have been MY STORY. It could have been YOUR STORY. It is HER STORY. And we have the chance to change it.
Our goal is to raise these funds by Dec. 20 so we can get this family out of their situation for Christmas!!
