DISPLACED VA PASTOR DURING KIDNEY TRANSPLANT

On July 13, 2020 after receiving dialysis for 5-years, Pastor Ronald O. Baker was blessed to have a successful kidney transplant in Winston-Salem, NC. While in the hospital recovering, the church where he served moved forward with a called church meeting in his absence. The meeting included at least 2-action items: One included a change to the constitution/bylaws to change the voting age eligibility (to prohibit a certain age group from voting), and two a motion was made to remove Pastor Ronald O. Baker as pastor effective immediately. My heart literally sunk when I heard this, and thought how calloused this is to take advantage of this man of God and bully him in this way while on his bed of recovery. Pastor Baker has been a friend to many, and a long-standing spiritual leader in the Kingdom. Our appeal is for financial assistance to help him as he recovers from these life changing experiences. Please give, but more importantly pray for him and for the church that removed him without an opportunity to give any defense.
