Displaced Native Family Seeking Help
Donation protected
Dear loved ones, relatives near and far,
We are seeking help, prayers, and resources due to recently and abruptly being displaced from our current residence. We request $20,000 for the down payment on our new home and help with moving costs. We received a Notice of Termination Due to a Substantial Remodel of the Rental Unit and have received 60 days notice to vacate. California landlords are using this tactic to raise rent and increase profit post-COVID. While our intention was entirely to fight this, we could not garner support from other displaced tenants. Instead, we decided to see this as a blessing in disguise and are trying to secure a more permanent living situation. We have started purchasing a manufactured home in a small community that fits our needs perfectly. We need donations to help this dream come true. We have poured our hearts, souls, and resources into the community for most of our lives and hope we have the honor to do so for many more years. It is with an open heart that we ask for anything you can give to help us on our path to stability. Anything you are willing to give will be appreciated more than you know.
