I wish to give this group of kids, ages 14U, the opportunity to travel and play baseball abroad at the event known as the Disney International Salute to Baseball to be celebrated in Orlando, FL in July 2019. My 14 player roster consists of a diversity of kids from low income families residents of public housing projects in San Juan, PR who otherwise, would not be able to afford the costs to travel and play baseball at Disney facilities.
The appoximate $1000 cost per player, including RT airfare, to participate in Disney Baseball for 7 days/6 nights is particularly difficult for families with more than one player and/or modest means. It is my hope to be able to provide such an enriching traveling experience to these youngsters and fund raising is absolutely necessary for us to be able to accomplish our goal.
We hope that through these means we will be able to reach our goal.
