Disko Throat Surgery

Some know about the scary situation we had with Disko this past weekend. She almost died due to an issue called Laryngeal Paralysis. We were able to get her stable and home but she is going to need surgery pretty soon to correct the issue or she risks respiratory distress again. We are working on getting her an appointment with the specialist however in speaking with a friend who works at the vets office we know we’re looking somewhere in the $4000 range for surgery. After this weekend’s care we definitely don’t have the money to pay for the surgery. We are scraping together what we can but unfortunately we’re also asking for help. Working in rescue I’ve helped a lot of people who needed it but I’ve never been on this end. It is humbling and not something I want to be doing but it’s for our baby. Anything helps and please don’t feel obligated. As soon as we have an estimate we will get it posted as well.
