An Invitation to Protect Our Home 
Through the leadership of Monsignor Michael Mannion and many others ,  Discovery Ministries has grown in the decades since its founding in 1974 .  The inclusive community it has fostered comprises people from all walks of life. The The Discovery House  has become a spiritual home for many near and 
far.   Over  30,000 participants have come to experience support , healing and spiritual growth. through the years. Retreatants   often come from the toughest situations imaginable. During their stay, they feel a love and embrace not often found in their daily lives.


Our Mission  is to continue providing  retreats and other activities and conferences   in an atmosphere of love and acceptance where participants can experience God’s healing and discover the presence of God  within themselves. Our vision is that these encounters will empower them to use their gifts to strengthen family bonds and to serve their local church and community as well. 


We also reach out to and serve families with special needs, handicapped children, and chronically ill children and adults and their families by providing social, recreational, and spiritual experiences. We want the House to be a respite, a “home away from home” for anyone who might need it.It is vital that we protect the future of Discovery for future generations. In order to protect the l legacy of us all , we are launching this Go Fund Me initiative to grow our endowment and ensure our ministry can continue for decades to come.  We need your help. Located in the beautiful Pinelands of South Jersey, the  renovated and expanded Discovery House also hosts workshops, conferences, meetings, and training sessions sponsored by church and community groups, service and educational organizations.

 Prayer for the Success of  Discovery Ministries  Development Initiative
Heavenly Father, please bless all those who have agreed to help Discovery Ministries as it  seeks  to  be secure   as a  place of prayer, spiritual growth and community.  May the generosity of all  be an example of Christ’s teachings to all community members.
​Saint Teresa of Calcutta  you promised to continuously bring the light of love to those on earth. Pray  for us that we also may long to satiate the burning thirst of Jesus for souls by loving Him ardently, sharing in His sufferings joyfully, and serving Him wholeheartedly in our brothers and
sisters, especially those most unloved and unwanted.
