Discovery 3227

Discovery 3227 is a group of concerned Barwon Heads residents who are currently undertaking a series of scientific environmental tests, regarding potential chemical contamination that has caused cancer clusters and ill health within our community. The funding will help determine if and what current health risks are present so that we may determine a way forward , and to  assess those who may be  at risk, both past and present. The group are unpaid volunteers and all monies raised will be used in the delivery and processing of material for full chemical data analysis. These results will be publicly available for all residents ,including  appropriate authorities, it will also form the blue print for the mapping of our township re soil composition/chemistry. We have already began testing and those results are currently available on our Facebook page...these are preliminary (scoping)tests and are part of a much bigger test field which will help expedite the testing process.All Barwon Heads residents we believe will benefit from the greater transparency and sharing of our results, your donation and support will help us meet those goals...Ross Harrison
