Shenanigans Hockey club’s vision is to offer an organized physical activity through the sport of ice hockey which provides a recreational, therapeutic and positive outlet for its members.
The team trains and encourages each member through a vigorous schedule of organized hockey in the Southern California region through the use of the Iceplex Ice Hockey league.
Our primary mission is to encourage individuals who have disabilities incurred during service to the United States to participate in the sport of ice hockey while channeling their energies to positive ends. The secondary mission is to partner the team with civilian players who better enable a transition for such veterans to civilian life. The overwhelming majority of the organization consists of disabled combat veterans and active duty military members.
Shenanigans Hockey Club is run by its senior player-volunteers as mentors who do not receive any compensation, stipend or other revenue for their time.
All proceeds or donations received go directly to league fees and uniforms for the team members only.
