I was hospitalized on my 26th Birthday on August 15th 2020. I was paralyzed from the waist down and had an infection in my spine & blood. I was on antibiotics. I was transferred to a health care center about 1 & 1/2 weeks later. My mother shoved my son at the health care center I was learning to walk at & that required the administrator to contact CPS. My babies went into the system on August 28th 2020. I was discharged in Late November 2020. I then obtained a place to live. My youngest was taken on December 30th 2020 due to a domestic violence incident with his father in late December 2020. I had court on December 15th before that and I was getting my 4 oldest babies back. Please no rude comments. I am doing everything I need to do to get all of my babies back! I've completed 12 hrs. of parenting class & I'm currently in a DV class (finishing in late April 2021). I have court in August for my youngest baby but I'm determined to file a motion(petition 388) before, to modify the last orders. My 4 oldest babies are with their bio dad and we have a court order through family court which he is not following. I have missed so many visits. I'm supposed to see them in person a minimum of 2 times a week plus a video chat. I believe it is unfair that all 5 of my babies can't bond much. They deserve to grow together! All 5 of my babies need to come home with mommy! I just want my physical custody back. I need to raise funds for a private attorney. I found one that's charging me $10K for both cases (family law & juvenile dependency). He wants 5K down and the rest in monthly payments of $1K.
