My life changed in a blink of an eye on 8/15/20. I became paralyzed from the waist down on my 26th birthday. I had Neurosurgery due to an infection in my spine & in my blood. CPS got involved 8/28/20 because my mother shoved one of my sons at the facility I was learning to walk at. I have 5 babies but my 4 oldest were placed with their bio father who wasn't in their lives for 3 1/2 yrs. I recently had court on 12/15. The worker put in the reports that I had no provisions for any of my babies. Which was a lie because I do have a bed & a car seat for each one of my babies. The judge granted their bio dad and I 50/50. I'm being required to do services which is no problem. I already completed 12 hrs of parenting classes on 12/28. They also want me to stay stable where I'm living at. There was an incident recently with my youngests dad this past weekend. They took my youngest, 4 days later on 12/30, late at night because I didn't press charges nor put a restraining order. His father doesn't even live here! I am being discriminated. I can only do so much in my condition. My lower body gets tired easily & stiffs up. Cold weather doesn't help either.
I go back to court on January 27th 2021
FOR ALL 5 OF MY BABIES
I need to get a private attorney, not one that's provided by the county. My rights as a parent are being violated! My babies and I have endured enough from this emotional roller coaster! Being disabled doesn't define me. It's time for my babies to come home to mommy! 4 months is too long! I've already missed Halloween, my oldest's birthday, and Christmas. This obstacle in my life has been a lot to process but I am not giving up!!!!! I will do what needs to be done!
