Help repair flooded home. Ins. Denial

Never thought to be in this position. My husband and I are disabled. He a heart patient & diabetic, etc. I a kidney cancer survivor & diabetic, etc.

Just had a pipe burst underneath our home causing damages to several areas of our home costing what we can’t afford. Having home owners insurance with State Farm over 30yrs. & 26yrs. In our home we had our first claim as of Oct. 23, 2024. We were without running water, electricity, & gas for nearly 2 1/2 weeks.Our bathroom & laundry room completely torn out.

Surprisingly State Farm denied our claim. Although our plumber told the adjuster he saw the burst pipe & showed it for proof, the adjuster believes it was a leak prior to burst. They say State Farm doesn’t cover leaks.

We respectfully disagreed & asked for a 2nd opinion but they refused. They wouldn’t send another adjuster & closed our claim. First homeowner claim. So, now we are struggling to pay for labor & materials. We’ve exhausted what little savings we had & help from family.

We’re under extreme stress & hardship & asking for any amount of help so we can pay for the damages. Any amount is greatly appreciated. God bless you all.
