Why We're Asking?

We're a disabled, AuDHD couple seeking safety and stability. This is our chance to thrive instead of just survive.

I’m a bisexual, self-taught artist with multiple chronic health conditions and no family support. I'm estranged from my family, and both of my parents have passed away. My partner is also AuDHD and a teacher. He is overworked and underpaid in a system where he is not valued. We live with constant anxiety around healthcare, housing, and long-term survival.

We’re taking a chance here and asking for help to relocate from the U.S. to Germany. This isn’t about hating the U.S.; it’s recognizing that the recent policy shifts here are making it increasingly difficult for disabled, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent people to live with dignity and access to the care they need.

We’re hoping to move somewhere with a real security net, accessible healthcare, affordable cost of living, and an opportunity for a new beginning.

We will share our journey with you through updates and art, but our safety and mental health come first!

Real Talk

We’re not asking to be saved. We are asking for a real chance.

We’ve worked so hard to stay afloat in a system that has done little to support us. Like many, we are struggling and have reached our limits. This campaign is our shot to move forward, launch a business, and move to a place we can finally breathe.

We’re parting with most of our belongings, selling and donating what we can, leaving behind the life we’ve built to create something new.
