In 2017 I was diagnosed with multiple conditions including Fibromyalgia, arthritis and much more. I spend my life in constant chronic pain and chronic fatigue. I have a wheelchair but it causes pain whenever it goes over the smallest of bumps or holes, and my partner's developed a bad back from pushing it. Due to this I need to change to a mobility scooter, but unfortunately I had to drastically cut my hours at work so I don't have the money for it. We live in a 3rd floor apartment where the lift keeps breaking. We need to either move to a groundfloor flat, cottage or bungalow. Unfortunately my credit score isn't good enough to borrow the money we need. I'm desperate. I'm at point where my mental health is at a dangerous point. If anyone could donate even just £1 I'd be eternally grateful. I feel utterly ashamed having to do this, I just don't have any other options. I don't believe in taking NHS equipment that could be used for others. If I had the money I would pay for it. I believe in NHS Scotland and I believe that you shouldn't take resources if you can afford it. NHS Scotland has been incredible for me and with multiple conditions, tests, MRIs and many other types of scans, emergency surgery, procedures, multiple A&E and admissions, multiple ambulance rides, crazy amount of medications, and even fertility treatment, I have cost them so much already.
