This is the official fundraiser for Dirk's memorial stream that I am doing on my twitch channel, The8BitKit on Saturday 28th December at 5pm GMT.

It's been almost 6 months since Dirk, or Zuzu as he was known online, passed, and the hole in both my life and the lives of everyone they touched will most likely never be filled. We were so lucky to have such a beam of joy in our lives, and I miss them literally every day. I've lost a lot of friends in the last few years to various health issues, and I feel like it's time I used the platform I am incredibly lucky to have to try to do some good in the world.

Zuzu was also Autistic, and they were a huge part of my journey of self acceptance and self love from my diagnosis just over a year ago. Without them I would still be struggling to accept who I am and my limitations. I want to pay forward the kindness and patience they had with me, spending many nights talking with me until the sun came up about our lives and struggles, and helping me make peace with who I am.
