Bring Dion Brown Home

Imagine getting a phone call just after 5:00am on a Friday morning, a panicked, emotional voice on the other side of phone describes events in which your beloved family member, who at just 39 years old, has had a massive stroke, and later discovered, a brain aneurysm. A man who loves his family and takes care of his friends. The middle child of three boys who became who eventually became the big brother always looking out for everyone else. I struggle to put into words how much this man means me, his kids, and to his family. Soon, with heavy hearts, we will have to unplug the machines and possibly watch those light brown eyes close for the last time. Subsequently, we need to transport his physical being from Georgia back to Texas where Dion was born and raised. We need funding rather quickly, August 22, 2018, in order to get this done, prepare to pay our last respects, and to lay Dion to rest in the same soil as his mother. We want to take the burden off of the shoulders of his 21 year old son who is having to make decisions no one his age should have to make, all while juggling life and school.
