Summer Internship at Dinosaur Museum

Hello, my name is Quincy Slotemaker, and I am finishing my Sophomore year at Montana Bible College.  Last summer I took an archaeology class (MBC partners with the Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum), and it was an amazing experience.  We not only did textbook learning, but got to dig bones as well.

I now have opportunity to participate in a summer internship at the Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum!  I would be involved in leading tour groups, speaking to exhibits, field work digging, working in the lab, and much more.

This is a non-paid internship (they provide housing only), and since summer is normally the time I crank up the hours delivering pizza for Domino's, I need to reach out to friends, family, church members, and random people to ask for financial assistance.

The internship is flexible for me to stay whatever number of weeks works in my schedule.  So how much money I raise will determine how long I can intern at the Dino Museum.

Here's how the math breaks down:  An average week delivering pizza in the summer nets me about $300 (wage tips - taxes - gas).  So for every $300 raised via this site, I will be able to stay at the internship for a week.  Another way to look at it is that $50 will sponsor me for a day.

Please consider being a "day sponsor" for $50 or a "week sponsor" for $300.  The maximum amount of time I have this summer before classes start again in August is 15 weeks; however, I set a realistic goal of 5 weeks interning before returning to Boise to deliver pizza.  But if more money is donated, I will stay at the museum as long as I can!!!
