Deborah Dill Smith's ALS Battle

Deborah was diagnosed with ALS in May of 2014.  Prior to the diagnosis Deborah worked full time as a nurse to support herself.  Living alone, she now has to depend on the help of volunteers for daily care and mobility. The disease has progressed to the point where she no longer has full use of her arms and hands.  Her legs are weakening, which requires the use of a wheel chair.

 Her medical team has told her she now needs to have 24 hour care for her daily needs and safety.
