The Kelleys' Hurricane Harvey Fund

Let's help Dinah and Bill recover from Harvey.

Last week, my sister and brother-in-law—Bill and Dinah Kelley—were evacuated from their Houston home by rescue boat. Fortunately, they're safe. But their home remains chest-deep in flood water dumped by Hurricane Harvey. Their entire neighborhood is submerged. 

While waiting for the water to recede and recovery to begin, Dinah and Bill will be staying in temporary housing—probably for several months and maybe longer, depending on what condition they find their house in. They'll be renting a car, since theirs was destroyed in the flood. Food, clothing and other necessities will have to be replaced. As will, ultimately, everything in their home that was lost to the flood.

Friends and family have been an incredible source of support. Many of you have asked how you can help Bill and Dinah, so we created this GoFundMe page.

We've set a Texas-size fundraising goal of $10,000, but any donation is greatly appreciated and gratefully accepted. All funds will be held in a dedicated account and transferred to Dinah and Bill digitally. 100% of contributions will be used exclusively for hurricane expenses.
