YOUTH ACTIVISM INTERNACIONAL : Founded by Andrea Rincón in 2020, YAI: Youth activism International, is a non-profit organization that works to improve the situation of the most vulnerable such as adolescents and children who are migrating, have been deported, seek humanitarian shelter and belonging to the LGBTI + community; through accompaniment and social intervention (education and art) led by another young activist.
" Digital school " is a diversity of virtual classes for migrating and refugee children currently living at the MEXICO-US border in Tijuana. The purpose of the virtual classes is to provide artistic and educational activities via online and digital. Given the global circumstances caused by the Coronavirus COVID-19 we seek to create a message of hope and love for the most vulnerable children & adolescents who live in refugee camps hoping to obtain asylum in USA. Classes will be taught live through digital platforms that will allow teacher-student interaction for 8 hours.
The most important thing is to protect the Right to education!
The expected results are that through the use of technologies and a direct connection with volunteer teachers within the refuge spaces, dynamics will be carried out that promote the empowerment of infants as well as access to the use of the Internet and reliable sources of information. In this way, in the medium term we seek to drastically reduce the negative impact of the emergency situation (such as the COVID pandemic) by offering information that raises awareness about their human rights, discrimination, xenophobia and types of violence, in order to reduce any type of violence within shelters due to overcrowding and social adaptation in emergency situations.
This program started with 500dlls and a lot of effort and love. We want to continue making this possible!

Fundada por Andrea Rincón en 2020, JAI: Jóvenes Activistas Internacional , es un colectivo que trabaja para mejorar la situación de los más vulnerables, como son lxs adolescentes y niñez que están migrando, han sido deportados, buscan refugio humanitario y pertenecen a la comunidad LGBTI +; a través del acompañamiento y la intervención social (educación y arte) dirigida por otres jóvenes activistas.
“Escuelita digital ” es una diversidad de clases virtuales para la niñez y juventud migrante y refugiada; a través de las plataformas digitales se desarrolla una serie de programas educativos online con voluntarixs que buscan involucrarse con la niñez y juventud migrante-refugiada que actualmente viven en albergues en la frontera norte de México, para así ofrecer clases que preven por el Derecho a la educación, fomentan el interés por el conocimiento científico, la expresión artística y el conocimiento de los Derechos Humanos. Tomando en cuenta la crisis global epidémica a causa del COVID-19, la "Escuela digital" es una muestra de solidaridad, amor y defensoria de los Derechos humanos hacia esta comunidad joven vulnerable que está pasando por momentos críticos y difíciles. Las clases se imparten en vivo permitiendo la interacción educador-alumnado durante 8 horas diarias de Lunes a Viernes.
Los resultados esperados son que a través del uso de las tecnologías y una conexión directa con los profesores voluntarios dentro de los espacios de refugio, se realizarán dinámicas que promuevan el empoderamiento de los infantes así como acceso al uso del internet y las fuentes de información confiables. De esta manera, a mediano plazo buscamos reducir drásticamente el impacto negativo de la situación de emergencia (como es la pandemia COVID) ofreciendo información acerca de sus Derechos humanos y que concientice en temas de discriminación, xenofobia y tipos de violencia, para así disminuir cualquier tipo de violencias dentro de los albergues a causa del hacinamiento y la adaptación social en situaciones de emergencia.
Este programa inicio con 500dlls y mucho esfuerzo y amor. Queremos seguir haciendo esto posible!
