Truck for Tree Planting

Staff, Students, and Teachers Speak on Working Outside with Dig In Community Dig In Community gets young people outside learning and serving. Why? Today young people are inside and using technology more than 50hrs a week. It is quite common to see young people, even when they are outside, staring into their smartphones. Getting outside, actively restoring the environment is a great way to learn real world biology, make a difference in the community, and stay healthy. Dig In is currently working with 16 schools and is looking to expand to additional under-served schools.
My name is Steve Kennett, the Director of Dig In Community. To continue our work, we need a new truck to haul supplies -- shovels, loppers, and plants. We are looking to secure a truck before school starts in early September.
