Our dear friend Michael Crook - AKA Crooksta, Sydney Diggers, Syd Diggs, Costa Rican Diggers needs our help.
After complaining ( this time for good reason ) of some pain in his face a few months back, he was diagnosed with what was believed to just be an abscess. After one operation a tumour was removed from his neck. Unfortunately further tests revealed a serious malignant tumour in this region, requiring emergency surgery.
It's tough enough for him being over in Costa Rica without family and his old mates but the kicker is that the insurance company is unlikely to come to the party ( long frustrating story) Without the operation things look very bleak for him.
I have set up this page on behalf of all those that love Diggs and would love to see him back to his old happy, cheeky, occasionally annoying self.
I hope that you can do your little bit for him when he needs us most.
ALL money raised will go to Mick for his medical expenses and recovery. I can't be more specific other than to say the first payment will be around $25K AUD hence the high target figure. We just don't know what costs are around the corner.
