Dig Deep for Visible Grace: A Well

Visible Grace's vision is to provide holistic care to orphaned children in Kenya. Over the past year we have finished building a second and third home to accomodate 24 more children in need in Nairobi. During this time East Africa suffered from a severe drought. Our source of water has nearly dried up, and more than once we have had to bring water in on a truck. This is extremely expensive.
We need a well. A well will enable us to adopt more children, to farm and grow our own food, and to dramatically cut down on our monthly expenses.
Our new building is completely ready to be furnished and opened. We have hired house parents and passed an inspection by the government. We badly want to fulfill our vision of providing for children, but we know that to be good stewards, we need our own source of water first.
$5000 will be enough for us to begin drilling. We hope that our auction in two weeks in Portland will provide the rest that we need to completely finish the well and buy a pump. We specifically want to provide an opportunity for people outside the Portland area to get involved in this life-giving opportunity to change the future of Visible Grace.
