London to Brighton bike for Lymphoma cancer research!

Hello all! I am organising a bike ride to raise money for diffuse large B-Cell Lymphoma cancer research. More specifically the research is looking at why the treatment “R-CHOP” (a chemotherapy regimen used in the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma) only works on 77% of its patients. The money will go to the researching team of Dr Paul Fields who has paired up with researches from the Francis Crick Institute which is a cancer research centre. To give you a bit of context my dad passed away in 2013 of Lymphoma which is a type of blood cancer, and him and Paul got very close during the process trying to fight it. Paul is a doctor and also takes part in cancer research, he was very frustrated that the treatment had not worked as it is usually 77% effective.  He then asked us if it were possible to use my dad's cells he had preserved to use for the research, which we totally agreed on! This kind of research requires a lot of money therefore the reason for this fundraising event where the bike ride will take place on the 28th of July 2019!  Help us fight it by speeding up the research process to give hope to those affected!

Every donation, no matter how big or small would contribute to this research and mean a great deal to me!

Thank you ever so much in advance !
