<div>Dieter, who lives in New York, was recently diagnosed with **cholangiocarcinoma**, a rare and aggressive cancer affecting his gallbladder and liver. This devastating diagnosis came after he was hospitalized with severe stomach pain. Doctors found a mass near his liver, and since then, life has changed completely for him and his family.

<div>He’s now in his **second week of chemotherapy and radiation**, and while the treatment is intense and draining, Dieter continues to push himself to go to work — not because he wants to, but because he has to. Their family income has been drastically affected, and the bills keep coming.

<div>They have always lived modestly, never asking anyone for anything. But now, facing **a rare and life-threatening illness**, the physical and financial toll is just too much.

<div>Dieter has already lost **over 23pounds**, and the treatments are taking a serious toll on his body. Once this phase of chemo and radiation is complete, he’ll need **major surgery to remove his gallbladder and part of his liver**, followed by a long recovery period — during which he won’t be able to work at all.

<div>As his sister living in Florida, it breaks my heart that I can’t be physically close to help with the day-to-day. So I’m doing what I can from afar — asking for your support.
