Diego's Fund Lancaster CA bus crash

This is Diego Zaldivar, a sweet 18-year-old young man, who lives with his mom,  and little brother.  Yesterday, Diego was on his way to  school on the Special Ed bus when tragedy struck.  At approximately 7:15 a.m., Diego was in a traumatizing collision which caused the bus to flip on its side.  Diego was tossed out of the bus.  He received multiple injuries in his body including his head and a fractured rib.  He is currently in the hospital undergoing treatment for his injuries and neurosurgeons are going to see him today to assess is there is any further damage due to his head injury.  He is going to need medical treatment, and a new wheelchair.  This young man has not lived an easy life, he suffers from epilepsy, paralysis, and he has a valve to drain liquid from his brain, but with the help of his loving mom, he has been able to persevere.  They are in need of support and we ask that you find within your heart the desire to help Diego and his family.  Any and all help is greatly appreciated.  He is hurting and through the funds collected, we can help him with the things he will need to ease a little of the pain. God bless you.Diego was released from the hospital and yesterday I was able to go visit him and deliver the funds that so kindly were donated. As a friend of the family, and knowing the dire situation Diego and his family are, I felt compelled to open this campaign on their behalf. Even though Diego was released from the hospital, there are still several test that he needs to have, given his condition, it's hard to assess if there's further damage to his brain due to the accident. He will be seeing a neurosurgeon within the next two weeks. He has a broken rib that needs to heel on its own; he's still in pain and Mirna, his mom, is not going to be able to work until Diego is fully recovered.
