Zamansız kaybettiğimiz Diclemizin, eğer bizi bir yerlerden izliyorsa yüzünde bir tebessüm oluşturmak ve anısını yaşatmak istiyoruz. Doğru bildiğini sadece savunmakla kalmayan, aynı zamanda temas ettiği herkesin zihninde ve kalbinde kalıcı izler bırakan bu güçlü kadının etkisinin aramızdan ayrıldıktan sonra bile devam etmesini diliyoruz. Onunla hiç tanışmamış olanların tanışmasını, Dicle'nin gülüşü gibi olan kocaman gönül zenginliğinin başkalarına da aktarılmasını hedefliyoruz.
Onu anmanın en iyi yolunun, onun hikayesini devam ettirmek olduğunu düşünüyoruz.
Bu amaçla ilk olarak onun en yakınına el uzatmak istedik. İlk hedefimiz: artık onun ebedi evi olan Urla'da bir okula yardım etmek ve Dicle'nin adını taşıyan bir bilgisayar sınıf oluşturmak olacak.
Bu amaca katkıda bulunmak isteyen herkesin desteğini bekliyoruz.

We lost Dicle very prematurely. She had hopes and dreams for a better world. As her friends and family, we aim to continue her legacy and hopefully make Dicle smile wherever she is and feel that we think about her all the time.
Dicle was a humanitarian who would help anyone she was able to. She genuinely left a lasting impact on everyone she met, no matter how brief an interaction with her. No matter the personal cost she was unbending in her beliefs. In life Dicle strove to give a voice to those who needed it, and she was not afraid to take a political stand to do this. She graduated from one of the world's most prestigious Schools of Architecture with aim of eventually working on disaster relief housing.
We believe that the best way to honour Dicle's memory is to continue her legacy. This fund has been established by Dicle's family and friends as a place for those she touched to use her influence to work toward a better world, one project at a time. Current funds are being collected to establish a computer lab in a school in Urla, Turkey.
