DIAZ FAMILY CONTRIBUTION FUND

Donation protected
On Friday morning, September 22nd, 2017, Saul Diaz went home to be with Jesus.  He is survived by his loving wife Missy, and his three boys, Peyton, Zachary, and Christian.  His two oldest are in college while the youngest, Christian, is a sophomore in high school.

Saul was an amazing man.  He was a true blessing to everyone that knew him.  He served in the United States Navy and became a member of an elite Navy SEAL team.  After completing his military service, Saul became a police officer, completed college, and earned two Masters Degrees- Aeronautical Science and Business.  He then became a member of the quality control team at NASA and earned his way to manager in the space shuttle program while receiving his doctorate in Aeronautical Science.

Saul worked as a contractor with NASA until the US space program that was scheduled to return to the moon was cancelled.

I’ll never forget when hurricane Katrina devastated Louisiana in 2005.  Saul and Missy had just purchased three newly constructed rental homes to provide additional security for their family.  When the disaster struck, they allowed several families, victims who were fleeing New Orleans, to stay rent free until they could return home.

This man of character and compassion got an infection in an open wound and the anti-biotics he was prescribed caused kidney failure in 2007 forcing him to undergo tri-weekly dialysis that later destroyed his heart.  Despite numerous critical health issues that cost him everything he had, Saul never lost faith in God, never complained, and always had a smile on his face.

When he became disabled he was ordained as a minister and volunteered as the chaplain of the Webster Police Department.  Saul was receiving disability and Missy was working two jobs in order to struggle to meet their obligations.

The family spent every dime they had to keep Saul alive for the past 10 years, exhausting all funds available to them, including 401K, savings, real estate holdings, insurance policies, etc.

This Go Fund Me page has been set-up for those that feel led to contribute to Missy and the boys.  Please feel no obligation to give.  All we ask is that you pray about it and if you feel led to contribute to this wonderful family, please do so.  They need our help.

Thank you for your prayers and support.
