Help Dianne Rise and Fight Leukemia

Donation protected
My cousin Dianne lives with her eldest sister and mother in an older two-story home.  She has had a seizure disorder since she was a child which has impaired her mental development and, over the years, taken its toll on her physically.
Yet despite Dianne being developmentally disabled since she was 7 years old, she has taken a bus to her workshop every day for as long as I can remember.  She contributed to society and had a sense of independence and self-worth.  She was always full of smiles for my kids and cuddles for my puppy.  And she always went upstairs to her room to sleep at night.

Six months ago, Dianne was hospitalized for over three months while fighting Prolymphocytic leukemia. She was near death but fought through and eventually was able to receive chemotherapy.  Previously surviving breast cancer, and her constant seizures, Dianne has shown that she is tough and can overcome anything.  Yet while being bedridden in the hospital for so long, she lost her ability to move and function without assistance.  She can no longer return to taking the bus to her workshop and is a prisoner to the first floor of her family’s home.  She has a lift to get her out of hospital bed that is in her living room and into her wheelchair but is unable to use the bathroom on the first floor.
My cousin's family has never asked for anything. I can't imagine what the medical expenses are for her leukemia battle. I am raising money to buy a chair lift for my cousin’s home so that Dianne can get upstairs to her own bed, in her own room, with her own things. If she could get upstairs she could use a bathroom and sleep in her own bed.  If she could get upstairs she would be able to sleep close to those that are caring for her.  If she could get upstairs, she might feel that she is healing and that things could as close to normal as possible for someone who has never led a normal life.
Although she will be turning 57 this month, she has the heart and mind of a young child.  Please help give Dianne a birthday present that will bring a smile to her face. If we can give her that chairlift, I bet she would take my puppy for a ride! I know how much it will help her and her family. Let's help Dianne Rise and Fight Leukemia! Any support you or anyone you know can give will be very much appreciated.
