Dianna's run for Aspire!

Dianna is attempting her first ever Marathon, the Marine Corps, after taking up running last year. I’m extremely proud of her commitment to training and energy she has put into running three to four times a week whilst raising our two young children.
I’m honored to serve on the Board of Aspire After School!, an outstanding Arlington based Not For Profit organization. Aspire! provides high-quality afterschool and summer learning programs that serve young people in grades 3-5, critical transitional years in preparation for middle school, when students must strengthen their literacy and STEM skills or be left behind by their peers. Simply put, without the great work Aspire! does, hundreds of kids would fail and drop out of school.
Many of the familiars in the Aspire! program come from socio-economically challenged backgrounds and would not be able to get the support their children’s additional tutoring needs if we didn’t exist. Because we are a smaller Not For Profit organization, our funding from foundations and other bodies is limited and isn’t enough to keep us going. My children are lucky to have amazing opportunities to succeed, many children, through no fault of their own, have no such opportunities.
My ask is for a donation to Aspire! to recognize Dianna's commitment to the race and to help the kids we support get a better start in life.
