Diane’s Second Chance At Life

Donation protected
I am currently in Mexico having a stem cell transplant to try and help and fight a chronic debilitating disease, Multiple Sclerosis, that has taken over my body for the last 19 years. This monster, as I call it, causes daily severe nerve pain, massive fatigue, major issues with balance, which causes falls, plus much more. Everyday everything I do, is a fight. I manage to do it, but I am getting tired of fighting.

I have known since I was diagnosed at age 32... that there was no cure. So, I was basically going to be "trapped" …. with it continuously getting worse, my daily chores and duties getting harder everyday to complete, for the rest of my life....unless a miracle was dropped on me...

All of a sudden in July, “a miracle” was dropped into my lap. I came upon a clinic in Mexico that was performing (for over a decade) HSTC, Stem Cell Transplants for people with auto immune diseases, including Multiple Sclerosis. I felt that I actually might have a second chance at life.....

Unfortunately, HSCT is not allowed in the U.S, unless you are in a trial, therefore, the procedure isn't covered by insurance.

The cost for this procedure in Mexico, including airfare, etc., is $60,000.

I don't have this kind of cash around to pay for it, but this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. If there is a way to stop this monster that has ruined and will continue to, my life. I had to find a way... the only was to borrow it... which I did.
So, now, I am in Mexico, for a month, not working...undergoing a very much needed procedure.

I did a lot of research on the clinic, because of course, my self included, was very skeptical. Before committing, I reached out to dozens and dozens of people that had been here, were currently here, or scheduled to come here. Every response was beyond amazing. I myself couldn't believe it, NOT one negative word.... Now that I am here, 3 days, and starting the transplant process, it’s even better than I expected, if that’s possible.

The medical staff (or team, consisting of neurologists, hematologists, pulmonologist, plus more) are beyond knowledgeable. The clinic and the housing is amazing and immaculate.

I am not looking to get ALL the funds from donations, but any bit I can, would be amazing, very helpful, much appreciated.
