If you know anything about my sister Diane Fowler, it’s that she is one of those heroes: always putting others above herself and taking care of those who need her most, the ones others have left behind or are too hard.
One of the greatest ways in life we show love is taking care of each other when we need it the most. Mister Rogers also said, “taking care of others is one way to show your love. Another way is letting people take good care of you when you need it.” Diane Fowler NEEDS us all the most now.
She has battled cancer three times previously and won each time, and now she is in the biggest battle of her life. Recently Diane was diagnosed with terminal advanced stage Mesothelioma. As we all are by this news, she is clearly devastated, but we will not give up hope and are ready for this fight. She will be meeting with doctors who are specialists in this field and going to get the best care possible to give herself years rather than months.
Many people have reached out and asked what they can do. NOW is the time to step up and forward to help in the ways we can and ways that will have lasting effects.
We are setting up a GoFundme page and a direct link to a PayPal account to help ease the financial burden in a time that those concerns should be the least of her worries. She will be making trips to doctors far from home. Your support will provide financial assistance for those trips, as well as helping cover everyday bills and the opportunity for Cliff, her husband, to take a leave from work to spend time with and to support her.
If you personally know her, you know how precious she is and how easy it is to love her. Please consider giving any financial gift you can! It all adds up the smallest donation to the biggest and will be a blessing to her and her family. Please also continue to pray for her and her family for miraculous healing, peace, comfort, and more time!
